Kansas Grip was born out of the need for well-maintained, industry-standard production equipment in south-central Kansas.

We began as a production company and found ourselves regularly in need of equipment that we didn’t have. As we expanded our G&E inventory for our own production needs, other local production companies began to call to rent our gear. We recognized the principle that a rising tide lifts all ships and knew the best way to serve our production community at large was to officially be in the lighting and grip rental business.

Alongside building an inventory of industry-standard production equipment, we went to work on set with strength, character, common sense, and tireless farm-kid work ethic.

We have been serving the local production community and welcoming travel crews to the area for almost 15 years as we strive to provide exceptionally maintained equipment with warm, Midwestern customer service.
